Life has become so pointless once again and this cruel realisation never fails to dawn on me when I'm in solitude. Had an enjoyable dinner last night @ a beautiful restaurant in Ancol. It's such a shame that I don't keep in contact with my childhood friends. I mean we do meet up once in a while but it gets awkward and our mums usually do the talking. It used to be like weekends in a nice restaurant with our parents chatting and the kids running around everywhere. It's really quite heartwarming to think back about it... But last night was enjoyable, with the atmosphere and the food and the conversations. Makes me realised how much we've grown and how fast time flies.

Long bus rides can be pretty interesting, especially when the things you look at out of the window flows with the music you're listening to.. the scene could've been the MV:) Observing people is another plus, and I really like to note who's sharing the same bus with me. So many people in the same squeezy container yet we make no effort to communicate with one another. Heh. There are a couple of times where I recognise strangers cause they've been in the same mode of transport with me before. In my head I go like, hey bitch I know you.

Sleeping is hard. Cause I know once I shut my eyes and drift into a dream, the next thing I know I'll be dragging my heavy ass to school. Same ol' routine: Prepare by 6.14a.m. by my living room's clock, which is actually 4 minutes faster according to SBS bus' timing. Pop the earpiece into my ears with a slow song and I leave the house. Sigh. Bus 13 comes at around 6.20a.m. and once I board the bus, I sleep. Life's good then. I get to miss the whole stretch of Geylang street where the smelly migrant workers would flood the bus like some dirty sewage rats.

But when the class gather together during class assembly, I don't feel tired anymore. Linda's disgusting face. Jem's mole. Basia's eyes. Van's NSK-ness. Char's tennis aura. Zing's long hair. Khee's piercings. That's my class alright:) Lectures/tutorials are wasted on chatting, drawing, or singing. It's fun, but it needs to stop. I was rudely awakened by the sad truth that I have to start studying or suffer in the long run. I wish I could laugh and have fun all the time but we'll leave that to breaks:)

Dhoby after school where we played L4D and bought matching watches and ate MOS burger and contemplated whether to study or not and gobbled a nice little brownie in the end. Hop onto my bus and I read my new book, Trainspotting, which cost only $2. A vendor in my school is selling 2nd hand stuffs and apparently a genuine Hermes belt is going for $15. Se-fucking-riously? Hah, what a fraud. To think the person has the face to be impatient by my relentless doubt on its authenticity:O!!
Anyway, ah dun really git the book cause the author wrut it in Scots accent but oafer a while it gits awright n it's a real nice book ah wud want to contiu reading.

I walked home and I smiled.

I'm feeling pretty fukin miserable right now.

First off, I'm still dreading school. Ok fine not school yet but orientation, I'm not appealing out or anything but I'm missing all the activities cuz I really don't feel like participating. And I'm not doing it on purpose, I just feel so distant that I simply can't bring myself to be high or whatever. Maybe cause council camps were so much fun and without the people it just seems so stale.
I just hope we can be allocated to our classes soon and get lessons started. Not that I want the latter very much, but it beats having orientation.

Then, I don't know what combi to take. Even tho I'm passionate about Lit & History, but I can't stand reading texts that I show zero interest in and S.E.A. history bore me to the most tragic death. I want to take CSE but it's only in H1, and I need to take Maths as H1, so the only chance I'll study it is to forgo Lit for Bio which I'm still contemplating. WHY THE FUK ISN'T THERE CSE IN H2 NB.

Last, I don't want to join any CCA. No I don't give a fuk about nurturing a good character cause I don't have to go through hours of practice(??) just to develop perseverance or team spirit and the usual shit. The drudgeries of these activities are enough to make me give up any hope I have to know my life is actually mine.

Fuck it everything has just been nothing but bad ever since results came out.

U just don't understand. I feel equally bad, everything is killing me slowly.

Bought a Holga135 today. Was thinking whether to buy 120 or 135 but I decided on the latter cuz the former needs different film and to use the 35mm one requires some special adapter and I don't want to have the hassles so yeah... 135 sounds good! The stupid fisheye lense costs me a good hundred bux though, wtf, I thought it's about 60, but turns out it fits both 135 and 120(should I ever get one next time) and has an extra macro shit.

Very happy with it, been wanting a holga for very long:) Okie can't wait to experiment! I love my D90 still! Bought a geek specs, I don't know why but I have been wanting one for ages and I really like it lol. Even tho I look fuck dumb .

It's funny how we're unable to express ourselves at times. I find it really exasperating that I have no medium to convey my feelings. Art piece? Music? Language? None works for me. The only time when I feel a release from all these pent up frustration is when I see a phrase.. or a quote that I can relate to. Like. Some songs, and it doesn't even have to be the lyrics. The beginning of the song Brothers in Arms seem to reflect my mood now. Ahh I adore this song so much. But I hate it recently when someone keeps repeating "and the sun's gone to hell"-_- Anyways this song is a freaking masterpiece, you shouldn't get by life without giving it a listen.

My mum has a lot of cool stuffs. Really!

The other time she gave me a brown, preppy checkered pants, then I got it tailored to make it skinny. Then she gave me a high waisted shorts, a checkered skirt, RoccoBarocco dress with a killer full lenth zip at the front, and the latest and my favourite, a denim bandage skirt(tailored to make it shorter). Plus the tons of bags she gave me, which come as a big surprise cuz I was about to buy those second hand vintage bags when she stopped me and handed me her gems. Haha she can be so cool at times! And she just bought me a suspender denim shorts and 3 beanies(although we have to share the beanies). Thanks 老妈！:) OMG I just told her that lots of people are digging zips right now and she gave me a khaki top with zip that can be worn as a vest too. Hahhaa! I don't even need to shop for clothes if this continues :) Oh and yesterday, I was telling her about polaroids and she said, "eh, 我很像有一个。". I almost killed her for not telling me earlier! But it's an i-zone series, so yeah..not very fascinating anyways. No matter, I shall reciprocate my love to her by downloading chinks' songs into her ipod!

Oh wow. I just watched Awake just now in the afternoon and it totally freaks me out. It's about how a man experience anesthetic awareness during his surgery, which means he did not lose consciousness and remain fully aware about what happens on the operating table. I did my research and it was pretty fucken scary to know that it really does happen to some people out there! Here's a recount from one of the unfortunate victims:

operating table as a team of surgeons prepared her for a two-hour
surgery to remove an abdominal hernia.

"I remember the surgeon asking, `Are you ready kiddo?'

Then she felt a knife cut her open. "I felt every tug and pull. I
heard them making fun of my weight. I heard them making plans for the

She was actually aware when the surgeons took her right eyeball out. Creepy shit.

Other than this, the movie's pretty good. I don't get the bashing it gets, I would personally recommend it, if not for Jessica Alba's performance... she was quite bad. But worth your watch still!

I love mafia-themed movies, I really do, I don't really know why but I'm guessing it's the way they are depicted with having so much power. And money. Moreover, this show is about Russian mafias. The freaking Russians! You can guess how violent and ruthless they can get.. both in real life and movies. Damn, that movie makes me feel like re-watching the Godfather trilogy. Except for the last one, I don't want to be a spoiler but I have to say this: it sucks when the Corleone invincibility is broken at the end with the death of ..

Yeah, watched too many movies for my own good this past week, including 3:10 To Yuma, School for Scroundels, The Hard Word, Blood Diamond(again), Shooter, Schindler's List, Deception and lots of Simpsons.

I think I'd only like to comment on Schindler's List. It's a real overrated movie. It's interesting at some part but the damn show takes too long to convey its point. What was the running time? Over than 3 hours I think. I never got so tired watching a movie! The longest movie I watched was The Thin Red Line and I loved every minute of it, because it was able to keep my interest level up. But Schindler's List.. something's just wrong with the movie, it's like there's a need for polishing. I wouldn't really recommend it to others, disappoints me especially with all the rave and reviews it has been getting even after a decade and a half. Bleh.

Jaw locked at a record of 5 days. Ouch. But I'm getting used to it already, so I don't think it'll make much of a different if it's unlocked now. At least I don't have to constantly worry about when it'll be locked anymore. But I do question my GP's abilities.. all he did was feel the movement of my jaw and told me how I could've gotten it locked and prescribed two type of drugs. One for muscle relaxant, and one to reduce inflammation and swelling. Inflammation? Swelling? I have them? I really hope the fact that I drop in 10 minutes before the clinic closes is not the reason why he seem so indifferent. I read somewhere in the net about exercises to reduce such occurrence and even complete treatment, but I didn't hear any of these from him.

My holidays? This has never been better. It's confirmed that I'll be flying my ass to London on the 22nd December and I'm so fucken excited cuz I won't be following a tour, but rather roam around freely! A White Christmas, all the markets, The Beatles, museums, Fish n Chips, I don't know what else to expect but damn am I excited or what! It feels like there's so many things to prepare. So first thing that popped into my mind was the photo opportunities. And photos require cameras. And I've been thinking of getting a DSLR for as long as I could remember and so I bought one today which makes me.. feel quite excited if not for my horrible jaw lock. But I'm still happy with it, it's Nikon D90! I don't know if I did the right thing by buying it considering how it has become some sort of a trend to have one, but hell it's not to make me look artsy or whatever. And my parents owe me one for my prelims but I pushed it to this time since it'll be a major hindrance for O levels revision. So I finally bought it!!! Am gonna practice and explore before my trip ! :)

:) Prom was kind of enjoyable if not for some of the performances and the food.. but the dance part was fun! Everyone looks great too :) Bye folks

Talk about music.. mhmm bought 8 albums recently which made me really happy though I haven't listen to them.
I bought.. the greatest hits of Bruce Springsteen, Blink 182, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Radiohead and Elvis Presley. The Beatles' 1, Muse's Black Hole and Revelation, Nirvana's In Utero.
Yeah, a lot of greatest hits albums, cause I realised I don't want to be committing the same mistake as I did with buying U2 albums. I like the band, but just not mad about them, I realised I don't really want to listen to every of their songs and should've just bought a greatest hit album or something. So I did the same with the artists I listen to now. The only artists that I could follow all their albums is Eminem!!!!! and The Beatles!!!!!!!!! and maybe, just maybe I'll buy all of Paul's and John's solo albums :) Anyways, Bruce Springsteen because he's The Boss and I'm crazy over The Streets of Philadelphia. Adam's Song is unforgettable, I don't know why I bought Red Hot Chilli Peppers maybe cuz the name's cool and Radiohead obviously because of Creep. Elvis Presley? It'll be a shame not to know his songs.
I saw The Beatles' Magical Mystery Tour album that I hadn't bought, and I was close to purchasing it if not for its ..horrible cover. And I really mean horrible like, hideous. So I thought it can wait and bought the 1 album instead. Heard lots of great reviews about it, only wished that I could've seen the musical!
I just needed to buy Muse after I heard the opening riff of The Knights of Cydonia whilst jamming away to Guitar Hero. And lastly Nirvana.. oh Nirvana, how I used to listen to their groundbreaking album Nevermind with my discman :) Kurt!!!!!!!!

Yeah so that's another 8 albums to my small collection :) One day, I'ma expand it to this big humongous shelve that will parade my albums in brand new condition proudly. Maybe I'll start investing in a vintage gramophone and LPs, that'll be really awesome. I have so many things I want to buy that it makes me almost sad. Yah woteva!! Hio. I'm now in my dad's office blogging, it's really a neat office he has. I don't mean neat like the opposite of my messiness kind of neat. But it's really a nice workplace, and it's even better when I'm relaxing here after my full body traditional massage and a trip to the salon:) Just a few updates, I bought my prom dress and footwear(high heels? weird?), my mum is giving me her bag, so I'm pretty much excited for prom! Mhmm, I finished reading a book, Man and Boy, I've yet to touch any movies which is a big surprise. I can usually finish 4 movies per day back here, but I don't know guess I'm just not in the mood to watch movies. The last movie I watched was The Lakeview Terrace, which was considerably good. I didn't like the ending, even though I liked how racism is portrayed in the movie.

Samuel L. Jackson plays an aggressive, racist black cop who's out against a White male/Black female couple. (Patrick Wilson is the male, which gives bonus *** to the movie :) ) So yeah I liked how it's not the typical White boy being against poor, old honest black people. While it's true there's still such cases, it's just get.. one sided after a while. Racism cuts across all kind of folks and it's not just the blacks who are always the victims. One thing I hate in the movie though, was that they give a reason to the protagonist's racism. It's just like how I was disappointed by the film, This Is England, in the end where the white supremacist hinted that the reason why he acts the way he does is because of a negligent black(or Pakistani I can't remember) father. I mean I'm not saying that it's not real anymore, I just thought if they could explore deeper into racism that has been instigated by this irrational hatred for people who are different.. then it'll make the show much better, IMHO.

What else do I want to talk about? The holidays? My holidays? It'll be confirmed in about 4 days time and nothing is making me more excited. But yeah that news got to wait :)
